PORCELAIN GIRL LOVE NOTE
A note from a heroine addict's mind. Porcelain Girl Love Note is an experimental short, that takes a snapshot of the "anguish" phase, during the late stages of a young woman's addiction. The film was shot entirely on super 8mm film in Cincinnati, Ohio.

This short film breaths life into an often overlooked character from John Carpenter's HALLOWEEN - Judith Myers may have only had a short appearance in the classic film, but she nevertheless played a crucial role in the forming of the Michael Myers story. Director Josh Hasty and writer Kenny Caperton (the creator of The Myers House NC) join forces to reinvent a classic character in an original new story.

JUDITH was released on Saturday, May 22, 2010 at Dusk. The film was released online for free in streaming video, and that coincided with a physical limited edition (ONLY 100 / SOLD-OUT) hand-numbered DVD release. The film was shot in 5 days in September 2009 at The Myers House NC and the surrounding areas of Hillsborough, NC and Orange Grove, NC.

A MANNEQUIN IN STATIC is the first feature film written and directed by Josh Hasty. The film was self produced and released on DVD and digital platforms globally in 2010. Arrow in the Head called it, "Unique and Compelling" and stated, "Josh Hasty has a terrific eye...Very beautiful."

When his mother (Kristi Cummins) uproots him to a brand-new life, 17-year-old Alex (Jeremy Hayes) finds solace in a rich inner world he's created with words and finds friendship with a captivating confidante (Ana Gilmore). But his alternate reality soon becomes more than he can manage. Was the life they left behind really worth leaving?
